Terms & Conditions – Kiweb

1. Overview

By using any of our services, you agree to the terms outlined below. These terms apply to all website design, domain registration, hosting, logo design, SEO, and related services offered by Kiweb.

2. No Lock-in Contracts

All Kiweb services operate on a monthly subscription model with no long-term contracts. You are free to cancel your plan at any time with 30 days’ written notice.

3. Domain & Hosting

  • All hosting plans include 1 domain (.co.nz, .nz, etc.) registered and managed by Kiweb on behalf of the client.
  • The domain will be transferred to the client’s name after 3 months of continuous service, or upon payment of a one-time Buyout Fee of NZD $35 +GST.
  • Domain renewals after the first year may incur standard registrar fees.
  • Hosting includes daily backups, SSL certificate, and CDN/DDoS protection as part of your subscription.

4. Email Accounts

  • Your account includes a limited number of email inboxes depending on your plan (Starter, Growth, or Pro).
  • Email services are provided by third-party platforms and subject to their terms and limits.
  • Additional email inboxes are available as a paid upgrade.

5. Ownership & Intellectual Property

  • All designs, logos, and websites created by Kiweb remain the intellectual property of Kiweb until full setup payment is received.
  • Upon completing your setup fee, all creative materials are transferred to your ownership.
  • If your plan is canceled before 3 months, a Buyout Fee applies to retain logo, domain, or site files.

6. Payment Terms

  • Monthly fees are billed in advance and are non-refundable.
  • Setup fees are required before starting work on your project. These may vary depending on the plan selected.
  • GST is applicable to all invoices.

7. Service Scope & Limitations

  • Each website plan includes a specific level of service (Starter, Growth, or Pro). Requests outside of plan scope may incur additional fees.
  • Basic SEO and maintenance services are included by default. Advanced features may be quoted separately.

8. Cancelation & Data Access

  • You may cancel your plan at any time with 30 days’ notice.
  • We can assist with site migration or domain transfer upon cancellation, subject to our Buyout conditions.
  • Inactive accounts for more than 60 days may be archived and subject to deletion.

9. Updates

Kiweb reserves the right to modify these terms at any time. Updated terms will be posted on our website.
